Degraves Espresso, Melbourne CBD

Degraves Espresso @ Degraves Street

It's Sunday and it's the last day of our Melbourne Food Weekend ^_^
Heard a lot about this always busy cafe on Degraves Street, so we must pay a visit before we leave.

Coffee Arts
The much needed coffee to jump start our engine, honestly, we were still half asleep as we make our way here from the hotel.
Love how each of our coffee orders came with different coffee arts, even though two of them are the same cappuccinos.

French Toast w/ Maple Syrup, Cinnamon & Fresh Strawberries
The french toast here are made from baguettes, shallow fried with butter of course, till they are crispy golden on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Crispy buttery bread are always oh so good don't you think ?

The Usual

The usual, your choice of eggs (scrambled on this occasion), bacon, tomatoes and 2 slices of sourdough toasts.
Sometimes just the usual brekkie food is all that you want :)

Veggie Breaky

As recommended by the waiter, I opted for the Veggie Breaky and then followed by disbelief stares from my dining companions o_O
"Are you for real ?? No meat ??"
After all the foods we consumed the day before, I thought I shall be good to my tummy and treat them to some vegetables :P
Veggie breaky comes with 2 poached eggs with hollandaise sauce, roasted tomatoes, roasted mushrooms, spinach and also 2 slices of sourdough toasts. The eggs are poached perfectly with thick oozing yolks and the vegetables do make me feel not so guilty :D

At Degraves Espresso, you'll find simple no fuss breakfast fares and some delicious looking paninis. Not to mention great coffee too :)
